Cottage Refurbishment, North Norfolk
This cottage refurbishment on the North Norfolk coast had been started by a local builder but the client wasn't happy with the approach taken and the lack of respect shown to the building and so sort recommendation for a contractor to take over.
We came in after the initial removal phase to take over lime plastering, decorating and general building, with the tiling and flooring being handled by a sub contractor. We re-plastered the entire downstairs including the kitchen. 3 upstairs bedrooms and 1 toilet.
The kitchen had 2 fireplaces to which we replaced both mantelpiece in reclaimed oak to try to replicate the original, rendered the internal cheeks and left a textured plaster finish.
